Fodder For Profit 9000

We are offering a half day class on Fodder. That starts with “Why Fodder?” then to what size and how to build. We will discuss all the different options and reasons to build specific sizes and how they can work in your environment. When class is done you will have everything you need to be able to build your own Fodder system to make the most nutritional feed on the planet. Increase the health and well being of your animals and make a better product in the end and all this while reducing the cost of your feed by hundreds of dollars a month.
We will discuss all Fodder systems and methods then touch upon completely automated systems. We will do our best to cover from the least costly systems to the $100,000.00 systems. Our plans will be made available to you at the end of class. Access to our library of information gleaned over the last 20 years.
If you are interested in simply feeding your animals or interested in offering high quality feed in the way of Fodder this class offers you the best of both worlds. We will discuss all the challenges with producing Fodder so you can make the best decision for you and your farm.
About the Instructor: Carl Blake will be instructing the class. Carl began research into Fodder while developing a world class Pig. Large Scale Fodder wasn’t available in 2007 so Carl designed and built his own Fodder systems and did enormous research and development to create a full functioning Fodder system. Small scale AND large scale along with a fully automatic prototype. After winning several awards for his pork that was fed with Fodder he has appeared on the Andrew Zimmern show Bizarre Foods on the Travel Channel, The Stephen Colbert Show, the Mike Rowe Show, two shows on National Geographic, winning the Cochon555 6 times with his World Famous Iowa Swabian Hall. His pork won the first Charcuterie Masters in New York beating out Iberico and several other world class pigs.

Expectations for Classroom Behavior
Netiquette Statement
Professionalism will be expected at all times, but most especially with your interactions online. Because the classroom is a place designed for the free exchange of ideas, we must show respect for one another in all circumstances. We will show respect for one another by exhibiting patience and courtesy in our exchanges. Appropriate language and restraint from verbal attacks upon those whose perspectives differ from your own is a minimum requirement. Courtesy and kindness are the norm for those who participate in my class.
Some Netiquette Rules:
- Treat one another with respect. It will be expected that we will not attack one another personally for holding different opinions.
- Do not use all CAPITAL LETTERS in emails or discussion board postings. This is considered “shouting” and is seen as impolite or aggressive.

- When sending an email, please include a detailed subject line. Additionally, make sure you reference the course number (Ex. ENGL 101) in the message and sign the mail with your name.
- Use proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and capitalization. Text messaging language is not acceptable.

You are expected at all times to apply the highest academic standards to this course and to treat others with dignity and respect.
My perspective is that we never cease being students of this world, so I believe that attentive, reflective people always have something to learn from others. Good discussions can be energetic and passionate but are neither abusive nor offensive. Vibrant, vigorous inquiry derives from discussions that:
- challenge, defend, and apply different ideas, theories, perspectives, and skills,
- extend a body of knowledge into different arenas and applications, and
- result in a synergy that compels us to seek resolution to these discussions.
